Paranormal Activity

I love watching movies. It’s like a rest time for me after a long day of hardwork. Recently, I heard a lot of comments about the movie “Paranormal Activity”. I was so excited to watch it but I’m having second thoughts for the reason that I don’t like horror films. So I just made up my mind and I grabbed the oppurtunity to watch it  during my free time. Honestly, the first 20 minutes of the movie made me really dissapointed. There was a lot of conversations and I got really bored and wanted them to stop talking and wish they would just show all the spooky scenes.  So after a long wait, they showed the scary part, and there I was speechless. Chills came running down my body and I’m just so thankful I was watching it with someone. I don’t want to be a party pooper so I’m not going to blog  about what I’ve seen in the movie. But I’d like to congratulate the director of the “Paranormal Activity” Oren Peli for doing a superb job. The concept of the movie was really creative and unique. Their acting was so realistic that made a gullible person like me believe that the movie was real. After watching it I immediately searched the internet for some facts about this movie. The director said that he patterned this film with his personal experience. Some of the scenes did really happen when the director bought his new house. (creepy right?) but I was glad that the end part of the “paranormal activity” didn’t really happened in real life because that was the most scariest part of the movie. What I noticed lacking in this movie was that they didn’t thought about praying. They were resolving there “spooky problems” with their own strength and we all know that the only solution in this kind of situation is to believe in God and pray. Oh well, I’m not trying to be religious in any way but still I wish they’d considered praying because It’s a powerful weapon against demonic stuff. On the other hand, I would like to congratulate the special effects team in this movie. Some parts were really realistic so I’ll give them two thumbs up for that. The actors were really good, to the point that I was thinking if the movie did really happened (great acting guys!). To sum it all up, I think the movie was ok. It was purely made just to inform the people that things like these does exist.
