Neil Patrick Harris is Blue

Neil Patrick Harris has quite had a success reviving his career on television. Now, he’s off to do more movies, top billing in the live action remake of the Smurfs.
Kids of the 80’s know this cartoon series very well. The Smurfs was very popular back then. They were a band of blue dwarfish characters.
The movie is said to be a mixture of live action as well as animation and filmmaker Raha Gosnell who did Scooby-Doo back in the early 2000 is set to direct it.
Filming will start in April, as Harris’ TV show, How I Met Your Mother is set to go on hiatus for the summer.
Twittering his sentiments about being chosen to play lead in the Smurf movie, Harris said: “I’ll do my smurfiest to represent well. Smurfs are rad.”
