Tom Cruise has just agreed to reprise his role as Ethan Hunt and do the fourth installment to the Mission Impossible franchise.
The film already has a script since last fall and it’s written by Josh Applebaum and Andre Nemec. Principal photography should start anytime soon or if the film has already found its director. There is no word yet on who gets to direct it though. The last one was directed by JJ Abrams, who have not expressed interest to do this. Although he and Tom Cruise are on-board the fourth story as producers.
The target release date for Mission Impossible 4 is summer of 2011.
