Another New Project For Rob
One thing I love about both Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart is the kinds of quirky projects they pick. Between them, they cover quirky, funny, angry, disturbing, deep, sick, enlightening, and a lot more. You can be sure that with these two, there will always be an edge of some sort. One thing you will never find is bubble gum–by which I mean the feel-good Disnefication of too much of the work of this generation’s actors.
Rob Pattinson has signed up for another new film, this one called Remember Me. Rob plays a young man whose brother has committed suicide, and in the aftermath, his parents’ marriage falls apart. Pierce Brosnan will be playing Rob’s father, and it is rumored that Lena Olin will be signing on as his mother. Chris Cooper, Oscar winner and character actor extraordinaire, will also be in it, but I can’t tell yet what his role will be.
This is a family drama filled with pain, struggle and angst, and hopefully a dash of hope to balance it out. That’s the sort of thing I love to see Rob doing…and Pierce Brosnan, too, for that matter. Remember Me starts filming next week, and hopefully Rob will be free in time to start filming Eclipse in August.
