Finally I was able to watch New Moon after an hour of waiting to get the ticket. People keeps on coming in to watch this blockbuster movie. Honestly I wasn’t expecting too much because I’ve read the book and I think it was boring. While watching, I noticed how girls inside the movie house can’t stop from shrieking especially when “Jacob” (Lautner) showed his awesome beautiful body. I admit that I was one of them because Jacob really changed a lot from that awful long hair to a hot clean haircut. Anyway, back to the movie, I think it was far more better than the book. I know a lot of people will disagree but It’s my personal blog and I’m entitled to share my opinions (Evil laugh). Edward (Pattinson) was able to maintain his charm and made a lot of girls go gaga. I didn’t mind that he wasn’t shown too much on the movie because Jacob (Lautner) got all my attention. On the other hand, I was so dissapointed with Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) acting. There was this scene that Edward was telling her that he decided to leave her, and Bella was suppose to cry and stuff but she didn’t, she just showed her confused face. Oh well, who am I to judge, maybe the director told her to do so. The movie new moon is better than twilight because it’s more exciting and there are also funny scenes that makes it enjoyable to watch.
Up to now people from all over the world are still watching New Moon. Some thought that it would beat Dark-Knight (The all time opening weekend champ)sadly it did not but it was estimated that a lot of people watched New Moon than Twilight.

Final numbers released today show that the Twilight sequel finished the weekend with a spectacular $142.8 million, up from the, well, spectacular $140.7 million of first reports.
In the end, New Moon made $72.7 million on Friday, $42.3 million Saturday and $27.8 million on Sunday.
Kristen Stewart also known as “Bella Swan” of the movie “twilight” has been an icon of young kids in this generation. A lot of die-hard fans of this movie wish that they were in her position and I had to admit that I’m one of them. After watching twilight, I can’t stop thinking about the chemistry between Kristen and Robert. They really look good together and I think they’ll be an adorable couple. The whole movie really brought out my mushy side. Honestly, Kirsten wasn’t the actress I was expecting to potray Bella’s character. I was thinking of other well-known actress, but infairness to Kristen, she showed everybody that she’s the right one for this movie. I like her “boyish” side because it makes her look cool and simple. Kristen said on one of her interviews that she really has to work really hard because of the expectations of the people. She has to read all the books of twilight so that she can internalized her character. She enjoys taping with her co-actors that’s why a lot of people are really curious which one (Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner)she really likes. Too bad for all those “Kristen and Edward’s” die-hard fans, because Kristen has a boyfriend. Though recently I heard that Kristen has been having problems with her guy. People tried to ask her about this boyfriend issue but Kristen decided not to make a big deal out of it. This November they’re going to show “New Moon” on the big screen. The trailer of this upcoming movie has made twilight fans go crazy. I’m just hoping “New Moon” is better than the first one to avoid frustrations from all the twilight fanatic.
In the second installment of Stephenie Meyer’s phenomenally successful “Twilight” series, the romance between mortal and vampire soars to a new level as Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) delves deeper into the mysteries of the supernatural world she yearns to become part of—only to find herself in greater peril than ever before.
Following Bella’s ill-fated 18th birthday party, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and his family abandon the town of Forks, Washington, in an effort to protect her from the dangers inherent in their world. As the heartbroken Bella sleepwalks through her senior year of high school, numb and alone, she discovers Edward’s image comes to her whenever she puts herself in jeopardy. Her desire to be with him at any cost leads her to take greater and greater risks.
With the help of her childhood friend Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), Bella refurbishes an old motorbike to carry her on her adventures. Bella’s frozen heart is gradually thawed by her budding relationship with Jacob, a member of the mysterious Quileute tribe, who has a supernatural secret of his own.
When a chance encounter brings Bella face to face with a former nemesis, only the intervention of a pack of supernaturally large wolves saves her from a grisly fate, and the encounter makes it frighteningly clear that Bella is still in grave danger. In a race against the clock, Bella learns the secret of the Quileutes and Edward’s true motivation for leaving her. She also faces the prospect of a potentially deadly reunion with her beloved that is a far cry from the one she’d hoped for. With more of the passion, action and suspense that made “Twilight” a worldwide phenomenon, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” is a spellbinding follow-up to the box office hit.

Now, I’m a girl, so it’s possible that the appeal of some of these women will elude me. For example, my DH drools at even the mention of Liv Tyler, but I think she’s weird looking. So, I’m just going to give a summary of Premiere.Com’s Top 40, with possibly a few of my own thoughts thrown in.
My husband pointed out that Emma Watson should be on here, and I notice the absence of Jodie Foster, whose down-to-earth beauty has endured since childhood.
I’m going to put them in three categories: I’m Straight and Even I Think She’s Gorgeous, Who the Heck is That?, and Her?
I’m Straight and Even I Think She’s Gorgeous
Freida Pinto
Freida Pinto (one of the most beautiful women in the world, and clearly the winner on this list)
Eva Mendes
Jessica Biel
Rosario Dawson (she looks best when they just let her be real)
Beyonce Knowles
Angelina Jolie
Isla Fisher
Scarlett Johansson
Jessica Alba (these two women are clearly clones of each other, but they’re both pretty)
Charlize Theron (I don’t like the pic they used, but she’s still lovely)
Who The Heck is That?
Mila Kunis
Mila Kunis
Zoe Saldana
Maggie Grace
Sienna Miller

Scout Taylor-Compton
Sasha Grey
Elizabeth Banks (I think she’s a good actress, but she’s kind of funny looking)
Vanessa Ferlito
Kristen Bell
Vanessa Hudgens (cute, but not that cute)
Kiera Knightly (she’s too skinny, it’s disturbing)

Gwyneth Paltrow

So, do you disagree with any of these? With any of my thoughts? Who’s missing that obviously should be there?
Rob Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin courtesy of Celebrity-Gossip.net
The New Moon Movie website is keeping a New Moon blog going, which is actually pretty cool. Of course, that means lots off pics of Rob wherever they manage to accost him with a camera (it’s not the New Moon people doing the accosting; they just post the pics).
Rob has gotten a rush of new work thanks in part to his success and newly high profile from the Twilight movie. Right now he’s filming a movie called Remember Me, and today he’s in Central Park in New York with his co-star Emilie de Ravin. In case you don’t know, Emilie is the girl he’s rumored to be with when he’s not rumored to be with Kristen Stewart. Because of course, all young actors must be sleeping with their colleagues.
So, New Yorkers, you’re probably used to this, but if you get by Central Park today, wave at Rob for me, okay?
One thing I love about both Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart is the kinds of quirky projects they pick. Between them, they cover quirky, funny, angry, disturbing, deep, sick, enlightening, and a lot more. You can be sure that with these two, there will always be an edge of some sort. One thing you will never find is bubble gum–by which I mean the feel-good Disnefication of too much of the work of this generation’s actors.
Rob Pattinson has signed up for another new film, this one called Remember Me. Rob plays a young man whose brother has committed suicide, and in the aftermath, his parents’ marriage falls apart. Pierce Brosnan will be playing Rob’s father, and it is rumored that Lena Olin will be signing on as his mother. Chris Cooper, Oscar winner and character actor extraordinaire, will also be in it, but I can’t tell yet what his role will be.
This is a family drama filled with pain, struggle and angst, and hopefully a dash of hope to balance it out. That’s the sort of thing I love to see Rob doing…and Pierce Brosnan, too, for that matter. Remember Me starts filming next week, and hopefully Rob will be free in time to start filming Eclipse in August.
Everyone is going crazy over the scheduled showing of the Twilight Sage: New Moon. While the much anticipated sequel is still 6 months off, a lot of posters, trailers, teasers and pictures are coming out one after the other.
We have seen the images of a Topless Robert Pattinson as well as the official trailer. Now we go into the behind the scenes look of this highly awaited blockbuster that is expected to become a world-wide phenom!
In “New Moon,” Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) is devastated by the abrupt departure of her vampire love Edward (Robert Pattinson) but her spirit is rekindled by her growing friendship with the irresistible Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner). Suddenly she finds herself drawn into the world of the werewolves, ancestral enemies of the vampires, and she finds her loyalties tested.

To give you an idea on how Twilight has become the hottest talk of the town these days, the hit movie ran away with 5 popcorn awards at the recent 2009 MTV Movie Awards. Already known to be a hot film thanks to its stars, perhaps the best is yet to come and supporters and fans just can’t wait what is in store once New Moon comes out to hit theaters.
The MTV audience was treated to exclusive first looks at the highly anticipated movie releases of 2009 including The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, and Public Enemies.
Twilight dominated the ceremony, taking home the top honors for “Best Movie” at the conclusion of the night. Robert Pattinson won three statues for “Breakthrough Performance Male,” “Best Kiss” with co-star Kristen Stewart and “Best Fight” with Cam Gigandet. Kristen Stewart also won for “Best Female Performance.” High School Musical 3: Senior Year grabbed two awards as Ashley Tisdale won “Breakthrough Performance Female” and Zac Efron won “Best Male Performance.” Jim Carrey can add to his collection of statues after earning “Best Comedic Performance” for his role in Yes Man. Miley Cyrus earned her first golden popcorn statue for “Best Song From A Movie” for “The Climb.” Amy Poehler captured “Best WTF Moment” for her unforgettable scene in Baby Mama, and “Best Villain” went to the legendary performance Heath Ledger displayed in The Dark Knight.
The show got off to a hilarious start as Andy Samberg took fans through a parody of some of this year’s favorite films including Slumdog Millionaire, Twilight, The Reader and Star Trek. Andy’s wild journey included a cameo by Taylor Swift and ended with him naked in the back of a limo next to Justin Timberlake. Finally arriving onstage in time to open the show, Andy got the crowd hyped up with the help of Mixmaster Mike.
Dressed to the nines and backed by a 20 piece orchestra, Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker, Grammy Award winner LeAnn Rimes and multi-platinum recording artist Chris Isaak paid respect to Andy and his incredibly vibrant musical career as they serenaded the crowd with a classical arrangement of “Jizz In My Pants,” “I’m On A Boat,” “Lazy Sunday,” “Dick In A Box” and “Motherlover.” The talented trio earned a standing ovation as they turned these edgy hits into an operatic masterpiece.
Zac Efron, Kiefer Sutherland and Triumph the Insult Dog presented former MTV Movie Awards host Ben Stiller with the “MTV Generation Award” for his dynamic career and entertainment of MTV audiences over the years. The honorees began with lofty praises reminiscent of this year’s Oscars, but the tribute awkwardly turned into a no-holds-barred roast when Sutherland broke down sobbing and Triumph started taking jabs at Stiller.
Joined onstage by a New Orleans style brass ensemble and a hypeman, Eminem made a triumphant return to the MTV stage as he performed his latest singles “We Made You” and “Crack A Bottle” from his #1 album Relapse. Kings of Leon made their first-ever live appearance on MTV, performing their rock anthem “Use Somebody” off their Only by the Night album.
In true MTV Movie Awards fashion, the night was filled with laugh-out-loud parodies including the “Explosion” music video starring Andy “Bruce Springsteen” Samberg, Will “Neil Diamond” Ferrell and triple threat writer, director, producer JJ Abrams “as himself” on keyboards. Needless to say it left viewers with a whole new notion of Hollywood’s tough guys walking away from mega-movie explosions.
Always looking to break the mold when it comes to award shows, MTV teamed up with Orbit gum to perform a first-of-its-kind live commercial pod takeover featuring Hayden Panetierre and Big Pak, who presented Amy Poehler with the “Best WTF Moment” award.
The “2009 MTV Movie Awards” welcomed the top names in Hollywood, music and TV throughout the night as the list of superstar presenters included Denzel Washington, Cameron Diaz, Will Ferrell, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Kiefer Sutherland, Bruno, Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Sandra Bullock, Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Hayden Panetierre, Sienna Miller, Jonah Hill, Lil Wayne, Chris Pine, Anna Faris, Channing Tatum, Bradley Cooper, Abigail Breslin, Michael Bay, Ryan Reynolds, Leighton Meester, Taraji P. Henson, Rupert Grint, Ed Helms, Danny McBride, Justin Bartha, Sofia Vassilieva, Mixmaster Mike and Triumph The Insult Dog.

Empire Magazine, a really great film magazine, is celebrating their 20-year anniversary. As part of that observance, they did an article called “20 Stars Who Weren’t Alive When Empire Started.” It’s a fun article; they tell you what each young actor was in, and then they speculate whether this young one will have an acting career as an adult…because as we all know, sometimes they just become washed-up former stars.
The following are their picks, but my comments.
Daniel Radcliffe. He is Harry Potter, of course, but he’s done a ton of other stuff, too. He gets better every passing year. And he gets better looking every passing year, too.
Miley Cyrus. I don’t know…I’m just tired of her. I mean, her songs are okay, in a bubble-gum teenpop sort of way, but maybe if the media would leave her alone, she could develop her music more.
Dakota Fanning. This girl is already so impressive, so accomplished, that if she keeps her career and not her private life front and center, she’ll go far. She’s already a draw, and she’s only 14.
Dev Patel. He was amazing in Slumdog Millionaire. I hope he gets every possible good thing.
Taylor Lautner. My Jacob, as Bella would say. He clinched the role of Jacob through sheer work and will power, and if he uses the Twilight Saga to grow even more as an actor, he’ll be great.
Thomas Turgoose. I don’t kow who this kid is, but I wouldn’t want to meet him in a dark alley.
Christopher Mintz-Plasse. I hated Superbad, but who doesn’t love ‘em some McLovin’?
Hayden Panettiere. I don’t watch Heroes, so I don’t see the draw. I’ve seen no proof the girl can act, but she’s cute, so maybe that won’ t matter.
Emma Roberts. Seriously, she’s got to find herself some role with some depth. She won’t make it if she stays so lightweight, I don’t care who her auntie is.
Rupert Grint. I love him, but I’m still undecided. Driving Lessons was wretched…or rather, he was terrible in it. But the upcoming Cherrybomb should tell us if he can handle something a bit heavier than Harry Potter.
Bill Milner. Cute, very young…I don’t know what else to say.
Saorise Ronan. I havnen’t seen her work, but she seems to be respected by people I respect, so I hope she continues to do well. And how do you pronounce that name?
Abigail Breslin. She was so wonderful in Little Miss Sunshine. I’m glad to see her doing well.
Freddie Highmore. It’s hard to see him doing anything more gritty, but I think he’ll want to start looking in that direction. It’s worked for Fanning and Radcliffe, despite their baby faces.
AnnaSophia Robb. I’ve liked her since Winn-Dixie, and I really wanted her for the role of Annabeth in The Lightning Thief. Nobody listens to me.
Josh Hutcherson. He was my first choice for Percy Jackson. I just like his style… unpretentious, straighforward, and believable. He may not be the glamourboy of the paparazzi, but he’s a solid, harworking actor, and that’s worth some respect.
Rory Culkin. He’s going to have to do it all on his own terms, but it looks like he’s actually doing that. Good for you, kid.
Kristen Stewart. I like her on screen, and I like her rebellious attitude off screen. If she can keep herself from self-destructing, she’ll go far.
Emma Watson. It’s like she descends from on high to do a film… and we’re all grateful. She’s talented, graceful, smart, and beautiful. Such class. A few of the young ladies on this list could take lessons.
Will Poulter. I don’t know him, but he’s set to act in the next Narnia installment, so he’s on the right track.
Now, I do think they missed a few. How about Logan Lerman? I mean, he just landed the lead in a 5-part series, the Percy Jackson series, so that’s a HUGE deal.
And what about the kids from The Chronicles of Narnia? Oh, wait, the oldest, William Mosely, is over 20. But the others aren’t.
So, do you think they missed any others? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
If there is one thing that films would ride on, it would be the popularity of their cast. And in the case of Adventureland, having one of the popular actresses on board promises to be a big boost as far as the box office and viewers are concerned. In short, Adventureland is expected to make great strides due to the sudden popularity of Kirsten Stewart.
When Kristen Stewart was making Adventureland, she was just another young actress whom most people had never heard of. Then Twilight came out and changed all of that.
In that creepy romantic tale, based on a popular teen novel, she plays a high school student who falls truly, madly, deeply in love with a vampire. The movie grossed more than $370 million worldwide and propelled her to stardom. Stewart now finds herself on the cover of teen magazines answering questions about whether she’s romantically involved with Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson (they’re just friends, she insists; her actual beau is actor Michael Angarano) and her style of dressing (“I’ve always had an aversion to looking sexy — it’s gross, you know,” she tells Nylon).
Stewart, who turns 19 on Thursday, showed up at the Sundance Film Festival swathed in layers to protect her from the chill and possibly from fans who would have a hard time recognizing her. She’s learning to deal with becoming suddenly famous, continuing to live with her family to keep things as normal as possible.
An advantage of fame is to be able to call attention to Adventureland, an independent film that screened at Sundance. It opened in theaters Friday.
