Matthew Broderick Says A Ferris Bueller Remake is Fine
It is a classic movie from the 80’s, with a very strong cult following…and now, Hollywood wants to do its remake.
Hardcore fans of the film, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, may not agree with this idea, citing that nothing beats the original. But Ferris Bueller himself, Matthew Broderick, has given the studio bosses his green light. However, he will not have any part in the remake.
According to reports, the actor is very “happy” with the plan and said: “(A remake) would be fine. I would be perfectly happy for somebody to do that. I probably wouldn’t enjoy (having a role in the film). I would rather leave what we did as our thing.”
Ferris Bueller was a rebellious high school teenager who had an unusually cool adventure. It was the movie Broderick will be remembered for all time.
