Ellen DeGeneres Gives Failed Idol Contestant a Big Break

February 22, 2010 - 8:10 am No Comments

Screen shot 2010-02-22 at 6.14.15 PMEven if Angela Martin has not been able to meet the cut for this year’s Top 24 contestants on American Idol, she is finally getting her big break, thanks to Idol Judge, Ellen DeGeneres.

The host and comedienne has invited Martin to be on her daytime talkshow. And she will also be helping Martin with her first song, in collaboration with another Idol Judge, Kara DioGuardi, who will be writing it exclusively for her.

Angela Martin has auditioned a total of three times on the show and the last of which was just this year. She would always be cut during Hollywood week. Once though, she was cut because she had to go to jail to serve time for traffic violations. The singer is also a mother to a child with special needs.

Screen shot 2010-01-04 at 8.08.35 AMContactAnyCelebrity.Com has named Twilight Star, Robert Pattinson, as 2009’s Most Wanted Celebrity.

The criteria for choosing this was culled from two sources — internet searches in both private and public online database, and the click per count ratings across the web by Google AdWords listings.

Joining Pattinson, this season’s teen heartthrob, are the following:
1. Robert Pattinson
2. Oprah Winfrey
3. Miley Cyrus
4. Jonas Brothers
5. Barack Obama
6. Kate Gosselin
7. Selena Gomez
8. Tyler Perry
9. Angelina Jolie
10. Ellen DeGeneres

They are “most wanted” in product endorsements, media requests, autographs and charitable donations.
