Conan O’ Brien Kicks Off Tour In Oregon
After some speculations and unconfirmed news from the grapevine that Conan O’ Brien and his staff are going on tour, the official word is finally out — Conan O’ Brien and his staff are definitely going on tour and will kick this off in Eugene Oregon.
Conan has confirmed this himself by posting this on Twitter early today:
“Hey Internet: I’m headed to your town on a half-assed comedy & music tour. Go to http://TeamCoco.com for tix. I repeat: It’s half-assed.”
Minutes after he posted that, his new website was besieged with traffics for fans scrambling to get the tickets. He later tweeted two more additional shows in the Boston area as well as an alternative site to where one can get more tickets.
The response from the fans has been very overwhelming indeed. Tickets are really getting sold out.
Conan’s tour will be a two month affair across 30 cities and will start on April 12th. Conan promises this to be “a night of music, comedy, hugging, and the occasional awkward silence.”
