Vanessa Hudgen sued moejackson.com

December 25, 2009 - 12:18 pm 3 Comments

I can’t believe Vanessa Hudgens would actually sue the owner of the site moejackson.com because they posted her nude pictures. Oh come on Vanessa! In the first place you shouldn’t have taken your pictures with no clothes at all. It’s such a shame that your fans (mostly kids) adores you so much and this is what they get from you. I know this has been on the news for quite sometime, but I wish you’d just accept that fact that people has seen your nude pic and it’s all around the internet not just in moejackson.com. I bet if you googled it you’ll see all the sites who posted it.

News:

Vanessa went to the Federal Court in Los Angeles to ask the judge to make an order so that the site would remove her nude pictures. She also had her pictures registered with the U.S. Copyright Office. This is really insane, I know Vanessa didn’t want this to happen but this is her consequence for doing such things. I heard that the reason for taking her nude pictures is because she wanted it to be a gift for her boyfriend (Zac Efron),and obviously  that was a wrong move.

I hope we all learn from this one. Be conscious of what you’re doing. Don’t blame others if you think that it was your fault in the first place. Especially if your an actress, an actor, a leader etc.you should learn to set an example to our younger generation.

Screen shot 2009-12-21 at 5.39.16 AM

Hollywood has once again been shaken by the news of the death of one young actress, who at 32 years old, should have so much going for her.

Brittany Murphy was found by her mother lying unconsciously in the bathroom, according to reports. She could not be revived. Her death has been ruled out as Cardiac Arrest.

Most familiar for her roles in the movies, Clueless and 8 Mile, Brittany Murphy was once a pudgy little actress who transformed herself into a vampy, seductive Hollywood persona. News of her addiction to drugs as well as plastic surgery surfaced later, after her amazing transformation.

Brittany Murphy was married for two years before her untimely death.

The actress also used to be with Ashton Kutcher, who upon learning of the tragedy, twittered: 2day the world lost a little piece of sunshine. My deepest condolences go out 2 Brittany’s family, her husband, & her amazing mother Sharon. see you on the other side kid.

Halle Berry: Remembering her mom

December 15, 2009 - 3:19 pm 3 Comments

The famous Halle Berry is now busy helping out at Jenesse center;battered women’s shelter. Halle knows that people from Jenesse center really needs help. She talks about her mom during an interwiew in The Times Newspaper. She told them that she’s helping other women because she remembers her mom on the hands of his brutal dad. Her mom was  beaten infront of Halle that made a deep trauma to her.

She said that even if her mom didn’t do anything wrong, her dad would still beat her up. Halle admitted that she had relationships before, but she knows deep inside that these guys are really not meant for her. Halle also got beaten up by her partner and that  made her lose her hearing in one of her ears.

Honestly,  I pity Halle for experiencing these things, but I do hope that this will be an eyeopener for everyone. I’m thankful that she didn’t stop herself from helping other women with the same experience. I hope she continues to encourage every individual so that they will learn to accept themselves again.

Hally Berry was very happy because she knew Rihanna fought for her rights and didn’t stay quiet. Hally said that she’s very proud of all the people who can get out from this bondage and people who doesn’t allow domestic violence. Halle also said that when you choose your partner in life makes sure that you don’t tolerate any violence. If just incase your partner  hurt you, consult someone because he might possibly do it again,

Saoirse Ronan, All Grown Up

December 11, 2009 - 9:45 am No Comments

Screen shot 2009-12-11 at 5.46.01 AM Wowing many of us for the first time in the 2007 movie, Atonement, Saoirse Ronan was only about 11 or 12 when she filmed that (and shown in theaters when she was 13). Now at 15 years old, the young actress, who is busy nowadays promoting her new movie, The Lovely Bones (which she filmed at about 13-14 years old), is all grown up and growing into a fine young lady.

She walked the red carpet premiere of her latest movie the other day looking every inch a poised and classy woman. Only the talented Academy Award nominee has just turned 15 years old this year.

Many of Saoirse’s (pronounced SIR-SHA) co-stars have nothing but praises for her. In Lovely Bones, she plays a rape and murder victim, with so much depth and emotion, you won’t believe it comes from someone this young.

Stanley Tucci: She was only 13 years old when we filmed. How someone acquires that kind of maturity as an actress at such a young age is remarkable. I can’t imagine it. She handles herself as well as any seasoned actor. I wouldn’t even be able to finish a sentence at her age. She’s a real actress. Bottom line. And she is Susie Salmon. No one else could play her.

Peter Jackson (director): Just brilliant. I tend to not work with big stars for the key roles in most of my films. What’s appealing to me as a filmmaker is that audiences don’t bring a preconceived notion to the film of who this person is. They’re more likely to believe in Susie Salmon if they’re not so familiar with Saoirse.

She is going to be someone to watch for in Hollywood in the years to come.

Taylor’s Jingle all the way

December 10, 2009 - 2:19 pm No Comments

Recently causing a big buzz in the media are the two Taylors who are rumored to be couples in real life. Taylor Lautner, star of the movie Twilight Saga: New Moon, was seen backstage on the recently concluded concert called “Jingle Bells”. Taylor Swift performed in the said event, which was a collaboration of different MTV artists to welcome the holiday season. “Taylor Swift’s not the only Taylor people are talking about here,” says Ryan Seacrest on an interview with Entertainment Tonight, who also happened to be present in the event.

Although working in completely different venues (Lautner in movies, Swift in MTV), the two young stars crossed paths early this year because of the filming of the upcoming movie “Valentine’s Day.” According to both mainstream and paparazzi footages, the two have been dating ever since. They were often seen on dinner dates and the two being together became cannon fodder for the photographers.

Fans all over have mixed feelings of the Taylors and their steakhouse romance. I personally think that they look good together. The werewolf hunk sure catches a lot of attention being seen attached to Swift. I’ve read a lot of hate messages in different blogs. Apparently, Lautner left a lasting impression of his attitude in relationships since his breakup with Selena Gomez. But the success of New Moon put Lautner back on the top of the “who to date” list. “He’s cute!” Taylor enthusiastically tells Ellen on her show. This statement may have been an understatement for many girls who have seen the movie, where Lautner flaunts his well built body.

Anyhow, the two Taylors are both in cloud nine right now. Successful in their own platforms regardless of critics. Both will have a grand time this holiday season. A “jingle all the way” indeed.

“Dear John”- official release on February 2010

December 8, 2009 - 2:01 pm 3 Comments

Let’s admit it, some of us are still dying to watch romantic movies even if other thinks that it’s so unrealistic. We watch these movies because it makes us feel good and sometimes it gives us practical lessons about “love”. On February 2010,they’ll be releasing the romantic movie ”Dear John”.  It’s about a guy who met the girl of his dreams and still asks “What does it mean to truly love another?”. This movie will surely touch our heart s and will make us realize about the importance of choosing between life or love.

In this romantic movie, Amanda Seyfried (young actress in the movie “Mama Mia”) and Channing Tatum (Hot guy from Step Up) will potray the role of two lovers who’s been brought together by destiny. They’re  mutual feeling grew deeper that made them vowed to wait for each other until Channing finishes his tour of duty. But unfortunately things didn’t go their way. The 9/11 tragedy gave them the ultimate challenge in their relationship.

I don’t want to be a movie spoiler, but as I was reading the reviews of this movie, I know I’m so ready to watch it. I just can’t imagine how they’ll survive from a long distance relationship and communicate only by writing letters. If you were in their position, would you continue to fight for love? Well, who knows, maybe this movie will make us realize things about life and also make us understand what genuine love really is.

Lasse Hallstrom directed this movie and he believes that this will really inspire a lot of lovers out there. See you on Feb 2010!

Brangelina Forever?

December 4, 2009 - 9:19 am 1 Comment

gallery_main-brangelina-forever-sculpture-photos-12032009-01Wondering what to get a Brangelina fan for Christmas? How about this life-sized sculpture of the famous Hollywood couple?

It’s made by world-renowed artist Daniel Edwards who worked together with Xvala. The statue may be seen at this 4,000 square foot home in Oklahoma City. The home has been aptly called, “The Brangelina”.

The sculpture, as you must see from the photo, has Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie naked and seemed to be in the middle of a romantic interlude, one that reminds you of images of paperback covers of Harlequin Romance.

The other interesting thing about this is that the statue is supposedly embedded with the couples DNA taken from the wine glasses they’ve used and drank to while filming “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” where, incidentally, their romance blossomed.

You can read more about this sculpture here.

Meanwhile, the couple are incidentally going to have to deal with another issue that their union isn’t going to last “forever”, with the release of the tell-all book, Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. It was written by Ian Halperin, who is notorious for other unofficial biographies he has written. But, in spite of how less credible he is, the book is now going number one at Amazon.

Here, Ian Halperin relates that the famous couple is “destined to split” and that they fight all the time or that Angelina’s temper is very legendary. He also outs that it’s the nannies who take very good care of the children, when everything else is just for show. In the event that Brangelina do break-up, Angie, shrewd business woman that she is, already has a story work out and will blame it all on Brad’s addiction to drugs.

No one really knows if these stories are true. But someone is sure to make a lot of money and a lot of buzz anytime Brangelina is mentioned.

Selena Gomez and Taylor Lautner

November 28, 2009 - 12:50 pm 1 Comment

I can’t get over of Selena Gomez (Laughing out Loud), she’s so gorgeous and has this pleasing personality. I’d always watch her show in the disney channel, and I think she’s really a great actress. I also like her because she’s the ex-girlfriend of Taylor Lautner (Which I’m head over heels now because of “New Moon”) and now I’m blogging about them because I think they really look good together. Taylor and Selena was seen dating  on public, holding hands and cuddling each other. But these sweet moments suddenly just vanished into thin air after Taylor’s dad  told him that it’s not healthy for his career to be seen with his girlfriend. (But why? Selena is a great girl) Taylor’s dad said that he should focus first in his career and stop making Selana believe that she’s the one for him(Taylor). This is just a sad story, but I think Taylor did a right think by obeying his parents. I admire him for doing that, but I hope the closure was ok. Anyway on Selena’s part, I salute her for not making a big deal out of it. She handled it without so much drama and stuff, and that shows  her maturity. But while I was checking her tweets about the break up, I saw this one “A man who does not think for himself does not think at all.”  Well, she has a point, but she has to understand that it doesn’t mean Taylor can’t decide for himself, he just wanted to follow his parents because it’s the right thing to do. On the other hand, I hope Taylor was able to explain his side to Selena.

Selena admitted on one of her interviews that she’s really not into the Twilight fever. She said that it wasn’t because of her ex boyfriend, she just thinks that the movie is a cult and that she doesn’t believe on those stuff.

New Moon is better than Twilight

November 25, 2009 - 3:08 pm 2 Comments

Finally I was able to watch New Moon after an hour of waiting to get the ticket. People keeps on coming in to watch this blockbuster movie. Honestly I wasn’t expecting too much because I’ve read the book and I think it was boring. While watching, I noticed how girls inside the movie house can’t stop from shrieking especially when “Jacob” (Lautner) showed his awesome beautiful body.  I admit that I was one of them because Jacob really changed a lot from that awful long hair to a hot clean haircut. Anyway, back to the movie, I think it was far more better than the book. I know a lot of people will disagree but It’s my personal blog and I’m entitled to share my opinions (Evil laugh). Edward (Pattinson) was able to maintain his charm and made a lot of girls go gaga. I didn’t mind that he wasn’t shown too much on the movie because Jacob (Lautner) got all my attention. On the other hand, I was so dissapointed with Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) acting. There was this scene that Edward was telling her that he decided to leave her, and Bella was suppose to cry and stuff but she didn’t, she just showed her confused face. Oh well, who am I to judge, maybe the director told her to do so. The movie new moon is better than twilight because it’s more exciting and there are also funny scenes that makes it enjoyable to watch.

Up to now people from all over the world are still watching New Moon. Some thought that it would beat Dark-Knight (The all time opening weekend champ)sadly it did not but it was estimated that a lot of people watched New Moon than Twilight.

Courtesy of E! online

Final numbers released today show that the Twilight sequel finished the weekend with a spectacular $142.8 million, up from the, well, spectacular $140.7 million of first reports.

In the end, New Moon made $72.7 million on Friday, $42.3 million Saturday and $27.8 million on Sunday.

Christmas season is just around the corner and people from all around the world are now busy preparing gifts for their loved ones. Some are busy helping charities that will help thousands of families.  Famous celebrities like Lauren Bush, Bryant Gumbel and Pamela Fiori gave their precious time to attend the annual UNICEF snowflake ceremony last Thursday held at the Louis Vuitton in New York. This occasion is one of the most awaited part of many because it’s the start of the gift giving season.

Below is the press release of the event:

New York, NY (November 11, 2009) –The U.S. Fund for UNICEF announced today that UNICEF Ambassador and actress Lucy Liu will light the UNICEF Snowflake at a special ceremony taking place on Thursday, November 19 in front of the Louis Vuitton Maison Fifth Avenue on 57th Street in New York City.

“We are honored to have Lucy light the UNICEF Snowflake and kick off the giving season in New York City,” said Caryl Stern, President and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. “She is a great friend to UNICEF and a dedicated supporter of our mission to reach a day when zero children die from preventable causes.”

The evening’s celebration, which will be telecast live to the Spectacolor CNN billboard in Times Square, will begin at 6:30 PM with a festive recital by Broadway Kids Care, a group of children from current and past Broadway shows who come together to participate in a variety of charitable works. Following their performance, Lucy Liu, Caryl Stern and Daniel Lalonde, President and CEO of Louis Vuitton North America, will take the stage and flip the switch to illuminate the UNICEF Snowflake. Immediately following the ceremony Louis Vuitton, proud sponsor of the UNICEF Snowflake lighting this year, will host a reception to celebrate the lighting in their flagship store on 5th Avenue.

“As a native New Yorker I always look forward to seeing the UNICEF Snowflake light up Fifth Avenue,” said actress and UNICEF Ambassador Lucy Liu. “It reminds me that every day, there are 24,000 children worldwide dying from preventable causes. I am especially proud to support UNICEF and their commitment to change that number to zero.”
Appointed a UNICEF Ambassador in 2004, Liu has used her influence as a force for the survival, protection and development of children worldwide. She has traveled to Lesotho, Pakistan, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cote d’Ivoire and Peru to witness UNICEF’s life saving work UNICEF and to advocate on behalf of the world’s most vulnerable children.

“Louis Vuitton is honored to partner with such an influential global organization as UNICEF,” said Daniel Lalonde, President & CEO of Louis Vuitton North America. “With our flagship store on the corner of Fifth Avenue and 57th street we are proud to be a partner in this important New York City holiday tradition.”

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Snowflake. Donated by the Stonbely Family Foundation in 2002, the UNICEF Snowflake has become an iconic fixture in New York City during the holiday season, hanging high above the intersection of 5th Avenue and 57th Street. It was handcrafted by German lighting designer Ingo Maurer and is adorned with 16,000 Baccarat crystal prisms. At 23 feet in diameter, over 28 feet in height and weighing 3,300 pounds, the UNICEF Snowflake is the largest outdoor chandelier of its kind. The UNICEF Snowflake ceremony is open to the public and will be illuminated for the entire holiday season.

Beverly Hills, CA (November 11, 2009) –The U.S. Fund for UNICEF announced that actress and UNICEF supporter Rebecca Mader will light the UNICEF Snowflake on Saturday, November 21 at the 2009 Beverly Hills UNICEF Snowflake lighting ceremony. The UNICEF Snowflake will grace the intersection of Rodeo Drive and Wilshire Boulevard during the holiday season. The ceremony highlights the City of Beverly Hills’ annual holiday event and the season of giving.

“The UNICEF Snowflake is a special symbol for the world’s most vulnerable children,” said Caryl Stern, President and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF. “Every day 24,000 children die of preventable causes. These iconic snowflakes—at 57th Street and Fifth Avenue in New York and on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills—hang as a reminder of UNICEF’s commitment to reach a day when zero children die from preventable causes.”
Festivities will begin at 3:00pm with the official lighting at 7:00 PM. Visitors to this famed dream drive will enjoy free entertainment – from balloon artists to jugglers, caricature artists to musicians. The streets are ripe with photo opportunities as well, with striking new holiday décor, lights and banners throughout the Golden Triangle and complimentary pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

“Beverly Hills is proud to once again host this spectacular holiday kick-off, launching a season of fun for the whole family” said Beverly Hills Mayor Nancy Krasne. “It is also our privilege, through our partnership with UNICEF, to help highlight all the outstanding work they do to relieve the poverty and suffering of children around the world.”

Mader will flip the switch to illuminate the brilliant UNICEF Snowflake on Rodeo Drive that will soar over the Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel. The Beverly Hills Snowflake contains 12,000 crystals, is 17 feet wide and over 14 feet tall, weighs 1,600 pounds and is illuminated by 125 steady-burning and 300 high-powered flashing LED lights. The evening will conclude with a spectacular fireworks display across the sky above the hotel, which is home to the west coast UNICEF Snowflake.
“The UNICEF Snowflake is the centerpiece of an ambitious program to raise funds for UNICEF’s programs providing immunization, education, health care, nutrition, clean water and sanitation for children in need,” said actress and UNICEF supporter Rebecca Mader. “I am honored to participate in the Beverly Hills lighting ceremony by illuminating the UNICEF Snowflake and helping spread its message of hope, peace and compassion for children worldwide.”

Mader will reprise her role as Charlotte Lewis in the upcoming season of the Emmy Award nominated show “Lost” and has held roles in numerous box office hits including “The Devil Wears Prada” and “Hitch.” Audiences will also see her in several exciting upcoming films including “Men Who Stare at Goats” with George Clooney and Ewan McGregor, opening in November, as well as “The Big Bang” with Antonio Banderas and “Ceremony” with Uma Thurman.
