Brace for the Return of Sexy Claudia Schiffer

Claudia SchifferFor the many fans of Claudia Schiffer, you will be glad to note that she is making a comeback in the modeling scene. And make no mistake about it, she is coming back with a bang as she has lined up three marquee products that are welcoming her back in the world of advertising and promotions despite the cutdown claims in these hard times we are in.

Schiffer silently went out of the scene after an active modeling binge in the 1990’s. The German actress has had some issues with harassment from various people, showing you how hot and in demand Schiffer was during her prime.

She has appeared in several films that included Zooland and Richie Rich. So if you sum it all up, she is a prized find to carry the new face of YSL, Dolce and Gabana and Ferragamo. Watch out for it!

X-Men Origins: The Wolverine is This May!

X-men may have wrapped its own series of sequels but that does not mean Marvel is done building on the storyline of the heroes for the hit movie. Marvel Origins looks into the separate histories of the members of X-Men and who better to kick it off other than the controversial Wolverine.

Hugh Jackman is back on a solo role as the rabid Wolverine with some scenes that seemed to have been already shown on X-Men 2. This is bound to attract a lot of attention, especially the Marvel Comics fans.

People Dennis QuaidHospitals have to be careful on how to carry out their line of service. Aside from having a high-profiled actor like Dennis Quaid under their wing, taking care of their children, twins at that, needs extra care. In this case, the issue is more on the overdose infusion of blood thinner to which both the Cedar-Sinai Medical Centre and Baxter Healthcare Corp may be liable for more legal battles as far as the Quaids are concerned.

Documents show the Quaids sued drug maker Baxter Healthcare Corp. in Illinois over the drug’s packaging, but that case has been dismissed. The petition filed Monday indicates Baxter may also sue Cedars-Sinai, which administered too much Heparin to several patients in November 2007, including the Quaids’ twins.

It is no secret that the victory of U.S. President elect Barrack Obama has inspired a lot of groups to take on more cameo roles and apparently show business is not one that is to be left out. Barely some weeks after the Obama victory, people are now buzzing on perhaps pointing towards a “black” James Bond, coming out perhaps from the raves and rants of the new movie “Quantum of Solace” which just recently hit the box office starring Daniel Craig.

It has been said that Will Smith has the inside track of being the first black James Bond although another actor, Jamie Foxx has openly declared that it would be an honor for him to be the first black Bond.

Let us assess both actors:

Will Smith. Without a doubt, Smith has proven his legacy in all film genres. His roles in various films that have become hit starting from Men in Black, I-Robot and I am Legend are perhaps one reason why this sexy star is being groomed as a perfect fit for the role. Audience impact, Smith obviously has it and if he should be the Black Bond, expect producers to be counting the green.

Jamie Foxx. Jamie Foxx has been aggressive through the years and he has certainly come into his own. But as far as fan impact is concerned, we all know that Smith still has a huge lead against him. Perhaps it is not yet time for Foxx to dream of being the first black James Bond although anything can happen especially when budget starts talking.

Of the two, it is obvious that if audience impact is to be counted, Will Smith is definitely it.

Camilla Belle Advancing Fast in Showbiz

The thing about building your personal brand is getting into controversies. As for Camilla Belle who never really gained notice until yesterday’s gossip that had her involved in the love triangle issue with Joe Jonas and Taylor Swift, she is now gaining attention.

Camilla Belle has been known for taking on roles in movies such as 10,000 BC, When a Stranger Calls and The Ballad of Jack and Rose. Now she has been linked to Joe Jonas who has been hit for the infamous 25 second phone call that led to his supposed break up with Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift is not buying it of course. In fact she has identified the cause for the break up and it started as early as October according to Swift.

“They’ve been together for months,” Taylor, 18, told OK! at the 2008 Country Music Awards. “That’s why we broke up.”

Keanu Reeves Acquitted from Paparazzo Issue

Keanu Reeves, that heartthrob who rose to fame for films like the Matrix, Speed and Lake House has been cleared by a Los Angeles jury for reportedly hitting a paparazzo with his car just recently.

According to the claims of the paparazzo, Keanu Reeves hit him on purpose and thus was demanding payment for all medical bills and lost wages. Reeves vehemently denied this allegation, saying that the paparazzo lost his balance while walking backwards and tripped on his own.

Keanu is sure to be heaving a big sigh of relief for this issue and clearing his name above all!

Douglas May Return as Gordon Gekko

Multi-awarded actor Michael Douglas is seriously considering coming back for the sequel of the 1987 business flick “Wall Street”. The sequel has been titled “Money Never Sleeps” and if the script is good to go, Gordon Gekko is coming back for another stint.

The original flick saw Michael Douglas play Gordon Gekko as a tycoon investing heavily in stocks where he partnered with Charlie Sheen as his favorite broker. Due to some violations of the trade, Gekko went to prison for these charges.

The sequel picks off where Gekko comes out of prison, goes back into business but with a harder time. The film once released is perfect for what we are currently experiencing as far as economic crisis and stock plunges in the news today.

Iron Man 2 Returns on May 2010

Following the success that Iron Man had, the sequel is practically automatic as far as questions surrounding another run for the hit Marvel Hero flick. Robert Downey Jr. returns as Tony Starks with the possible team up with the Jim Rhodes “War Machine”, this time played by Don Cheadle.

Terrence Howard played Jim Rhodes in Iron Man 1, but apparently will not be coming back due to some issues with the new contract.

So mark the date and wait for it in May 2010. This sequel promises to be as good as the first one.

Adam Sandler Expecting a Baby Girl

Outside the funny roles that Adam Sandler portrays in much of his movies, he also has a family to tend to. Sandler has been certainly quiet these past days after his last flick “Don’t Mess with the Zohan” came out. So what has been Sandler up to these days?

One of my personal favorites who has followed the successful footsteps of standup comedians like Jim Carrey, Sandler seems to be busy preparing for something…a new member of his family. He was sighted bringing in baby furniture into his home and apparently there is another baby on the way.

From the current looks of his wife Jackie, it seems that Sandler will be the proud father of another baby girl!
