“At around 5 a.m. Friday, officers received a call from a security guard who reported that Paris Hilton’s residence had been broken into,” a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department Julie Sohn stated to PEOPLE Magazine.

Bettie Page made a name for herself in the 1950’s, being branded as the Pin Up Queen of that decade as she was the picture of perfection as far as posing for various magazines during those times. But the stint that really propelled her to stardom was when she posed for Playboy as Miss January 1955.

Unfortunately these will all be part of history as well as the life she lived. Page died of Pneumonia Thursday at the age of 85. She was admitted already some weeks back when she suffered a heart attack and never regained consciousness since then.

Page combined sweetness and sexuality in a series of now-legendary posters and photographs in the 1950s, including as one of the inaugural centerfolds in Hugh Heffner’s new magazine Playboy, which named her “the model of the century.”

To sum it all up, don’t mess with Madonna. Two leading publications learned this the hard way, publishing old wedding photos without her consent and thus earning a lawsuit to which the controversial diva has won.

Compromises are being sent Madonna’s way but apparently the queen of pop doesn’t want to settle. She is hitting them where it is hard with lawsuits practically suing them from everything that they have.

The photos were reportedly stolen by a former interior designer for Madonna and Ritchie some years back and these have been sold to these two tabloids for publishing. Though they are trying to retract it, it seems that everything is a bit too late.

A source close to Madonna says that won’t satisfy her: “Madonna would rather have the money, nobody reads what OK! writes.”

Madonna posing for Louis Vutton should not be surprising. In fact, it is perhaps long overdue. A lot of other actresses have had their chance on endorsing this familiar fashion brand but while Madonna may already be 50, it is better late than never.

Add to the fact that she does not look her age, the ads that she made which are due for release in the Summer or Spring of 2009 promises one of the ads to watch.

‘It’s a big change from what we were doing. It tells a story,’ Antoine Arnault, Louis Vuitton’s director of communications, told WWD today. ‘This, I think, is an amazing coup, but more than that, there’s real logic behind it. It’s very linked to Marc’s fashion show.’
