Larry Hagman’s ashes to be scattered around the world
Los Angeles (dpa) – The ashes of actor Larry Hagman, who played the villainous JR Ewing on 1980s soap opera Dallas, will be scattered at locations around the world following two private memorial services, his agent has revealed.
”He’ll be spread around the world, basically. His son travels a great deal, and I know it’ll give Larry great pleasure,” his agent John Castonia told Entertainment Tonight.
Hagman, who lived in California, died Friday at 81 in the Medical City Hospital in Dallas, Texas.
The invitation-only memorial services will be held at the weekend in Los Angeles and Dallas and will be limited to family and friends.
Fans who wish to pay tribute to the actor will be able to attend a special memorial event at the Southfork Ranch near Dallas, where much of the soap opera was filmed. It will open its gates to the public on Sunday.
