Classic lines from the movies

Posted by admin

Manila, Philippines – TOO EARLY TO TELL – The most famous line in “No Other Woman” was said not by leading ladies Anne Curtis and Cristine Reyes, but by Carmi Martin. She played Cristine’s mother, telling her daughter: “Panahon na para i-pack up mo ’yang si Lucy Torres mo. Ilabas mo na diyan si Gretchen Barretto.”

Cristine is the suffering wife of Derek Ramsay, whose mistress is Anne.

As you very well know, Lucy’s prim and proper, while Gretchen is palaban.

Neither Lucy nor Gretchen was offended… no reason to be.

Will the line mouthed by Carmi become a classic?

Too early to tell. Let’s wait and see.

There are other classic lines, but for now they will suffice.
