Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony has called it quits and have ended their seven year marriage. The two made this announcement via their representatives citing they split amidst a very difficult decision. The former pair also said that they have reached an “amicable conclusion on all matters.”

They have a children together, Max and Emme who are fraternal twins. And other than being married, the two also work together as producers of the reality series Q’Viva (or The Chosen), in partnership with Simon Fuller from American Idol .

Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony made headlines early this year, when she became quite active on television, serving as judge on American Idol, and he was a constant presence in the studio and at one point, performed on the show.

There were reports about how the couple was so sweet towards each other behind the scenes and I guess that this is all for show right?

People are saying that part of the problem in the marriage was JLo’s posh lifestyle. The actress is known for her penchant for wanting designer kids. It’s common knowledge the twins wear the most expensive clothes even as they will outgrow these in a week.

The couple may also have had problems with the wife being more popular than the husband. JLo’s star power has always been bigger than Mark Anthony, though, this shouldn’t have been the problem with their marriage, as Mark Anthony must have known that way before they dated.
