After much speculation, it’s now confirmed that Angelina Jolie will be playing the role of the Queen of The Nile, as she takes on Cleopatra in the epic adaptation of the book entitled “Cleopatra: A Life”.

The actress is said to be producer Scott Rudin’s top pick and that the movie is being developed with her in mind, even before she agreed to be in the film.

The film, however, will not focus on Cleopatra’s allure and powers with men, but more on her business savvy and political ambitions.

We think she’s perfect for the part and now we’re wondering who will play her Marc Anthony. Any guesses?
