MANILA, Philippines – Once rumored to be paramours, actors Gerard Anderson and Bea Alonzo are making it obvious that they no longer have any business with each other.

Anderson is currently keeping busy with work, neck deep as he is with his first movie together with Sarah Geronimo dubbed, “Catch Me I’m Falling in Love.”  According to Anderson he is currently loveless and is quick to dash rumors that he is eagerly trying to win back ex-girlfriend Kim Chiu.

Rumors about Anderson trying to woo Chiu back came after supposed sightings of the pair during this year’s Valentine’s celebrations. Anderson said he was shocked to hear about the rumor.

“’Di kami nagkasama,” said he via “E-Live,” Saturday, Feb. 26. “Dateless ako nun.”

Where Anderson is seemingly not too keen on involving himself with matters of the heart, Alonzo, on the other hand, has apparently jumped into love’s murky waters, so to speak, and is eager to share to the public her brewing romance with Zanjoe Marudo.

In the same episode of “E-Live,” Alonzo intimated that she spent Valentine’s Day with the actor-model.

The date was unplanned, according to Alonzo, with the duo having decided to join her mom and dad in a quiet celebration of the red-letter day. “Hindi ko ini-expect na wala akong trabaho nung fourteen,” said she. “Nagkataon na nandun [sa bahay] si Z so, sumama na lang siya. Nakakatuwa kasi it’s very casual.”

To dispel allusions that Marudo didn’t prepare anything for her on Valentine’s, Alonzo shared that the former surprised her with a gift the day prior.
