MANILA, Philippines — Cristine Reyes washed her and her boyfriend Rayver Cruz’s hands regarding Sarah Geronimo’s recent revelations about her botched, short-lived romance with the latter.

“Ang wish ko lang, matanggap na lang po ng iba na masaya na kami. And matanggap nila na wala po kaming kasalanan sa kanila… na hindi namin ginusto ‘yung mga nangyari before. Pinaparating lang po namin na dapat hindi po nila kami sinasabihan ng kung anu-ano. Kasi wala naman po kaming kasalanan,” the sexy actress said in an interview aired on “The Buzz” on Feb. 27.

Skipping the controversial ambiguities she always seemed to be hiding behind (including her spiels during her concert with Martin Nievera earlier this month where she purportedly alluded to Rayver), Sarah finally confirmed long-running speculations that she indeed had a relationship with the dancer-actor, via a magazine interview.

In what may well be her most explosive tell-all to date, she also admitted that she eventually split with Rayver after she learned that he was courting Cristine.

The sexy actress, who fired a Twitter tirade against Sarah last year believing that the pop princess took a swipe against her and Rayver during a rehearsal for “ASAP XV”—with her on-mic remark, “’Pag magaling sumayaw habulin ng mga babaeng sexy”—defended her present beau over accusations on his faithfulness as a lover.

“Kung wala naman pong nangialam, ‘di naman po mangyayari ‘yon, kasi hindi naman talaga intensyon ng tao na pagsabayin talaga. And pa’no pagsasabayin, naging kami Sept. 14. I think nag-break sila [ni Sarah] summer last year,” said Cristine.

She also maintained that her conscience is clear. “Na-prove ko naman na wala akong kasalanan. So, ayoko nang magsalita,” she said.
