There are plenty of movie projects intending to adapt the classic fairytale, Snow White, into a live action film. One of the productions is that of Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman and sources are saying that the studio is intending to cast Tom Hardy, who was impressive in Inception, opposite Angelina Jolie.

Universal is supposedly courting the actress to play Ravenna, the evil queen being tracked down by Eric (Hardy). But there has been no confirmation whether the actress has agreed.

Also, the part of Snow White has yet to be cast. Any guesses as to who will play her?

The film is set to have a December 2012 release.
