Taylor Swift Grows Up With 3rd Album
With the release of teen princess, Taylor Swift’s third album , today, October 25, fans can no longer contain the excitement. Earlier this week, reviews have it that this album is different from her other two releases, and showcases a more mature side to the singer. She as indeed grown up.
The album, entitled “Speak Now”, is expected to hit 1 Million Sales this week, as the carrier single, “Mine” is already selling that much on iTunes.
“Speak Now” is apparently autobiographical, with the singer and songwriter, doing all of the songs which included controversial stories from her young life. This includes her run-in with Kanya West at an awards show last year, as well as her relationships with Taylor Lautner and John Mayer.
The album features 14 songs. The most controversial of these is the song she wrote for John Mayer, called “Dear John”, which had the lyrics, “Dear John/ I see it all/ Now that you’re gone/ Don’t you think I was too young to be messed with.”
Her song for Taylor Lautner is supposedly an apology. The two briefly dated sometime last year.
“Speak Now” hits stores today.
