Marvel Studios is reported to be doing the scripts for Iron Fist, based on the Marvel martial arts hero, Danny Rand. The Iron Fist was a famous comic series back in the 70′s.

In the story, Rand is a wealthy man who is trained in martial arts and gains magical powers that makes his fist indestructible. He uses this power to fight evil and teams up with Power Man, Luke Cage. The Iron Fist is also part of the New Avengers, a group of superheroes that includes Hawkeye, Spider-Man and The Thing, among others. Power Man and New Avengers are supposedly also going to get their movie treatments.

No word yet on who should star as Danny Rand, as film is only in its developmental stages.
