Director Christopher Nolan is working on his third Batman installment and news have it that the studio is looking to cast a new Riddler for it. You must know, of course, that The Riddler was previously played by Jim Carrey, in an earlier adaptation of the Batman movie.

One possible candidate whose name is being thrown around is Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who is really coming to his own as an actor, having starred in critically praised films like “500 Days of Summer” and “Inception”. Although people say he resembles Heath Ledger more, and in some ways, could possibly fill in his shoes instead.

Veteran actor Robin Williams have also expressed interest in becoming the Riddler, as do several other actors.
