Lots of fairy tale stories getting live action treatment, and the latest comes from this unconfirmed report that Elizabeth Banks is going to play the role of Tinkerbell in this McG directed live-action version. With that director on board, you can bet it’s going to be a smorgasbord of eye-candy.

The said film is said to be an “uncanny version” of the fantasy story and that Tinkerbell will be more mischievous than ever.

I’m thrilled to see Banks in the role as well as she is someone who does have this ability to play naughty and nice at the same time.

There is no other word yet on what else and who else will take part in the film, but I’m betting it’s going to be light, campy and really fun!
