There have been a lot of speculations as to who is going to play Captain America in its live action remake and now the studio has announced that the role is going to Chris Evans, who has done films like Fantastic Four and Not Another Teen Movie.

Not everyone is thrilled for this casting though, and even Chris Evans was surprised himself saying, “I think they got the costume right. The casting they completely ruined, but the costume they nailed!’” The actor admits he is “scared” to play the role of Steve Rogers knowing that a lot is expected from him.

The actor is going to don the iconic costume, of course, and prototypes of this has been leaked on the internet a few days ago. “Given the fact that his costume is red, white and blue, and it’s tight, and it could be kind of flash and over the top — and given the fact that the movie takes place in the ’40s and ’50s — they’ve done a really good job of making it look really cool.”

Captain America hits theaters next year.
