The gorgeous Jennifer Garner has signed on to star in the remake of Arthur, a classic from the 80′s. The original film starred Dudley Moore and is a comedy flick with a string of Oscar nominations to brag about. I think Jennifer Garner has the perfect vehicle for her. She really does have great comedic timing.

Joining her in the film is Nick Nolte, as well as Russell Brand, Helen Mirren and Greta Gerwig. The remake will be directed by Jason Winer, who is credited for directing many episodes of the series, Modern Family.

Arthur is going to be played by Russel Brand, and is given a large trust fund if he marries the heiress played by Jennifer Garner), but he is in love with the poor girl, played by Greta Gerwig.
