This line, “Three divorces! Three divorces!” was uttered by Ross Geller on the show, Friends and this is what I keep hearing when I read the Entertainment news today. The celebrities are getting divorced from their wives. What is marriage coming to, I wonder?

First up, Larry King and his wife Shawn King, married for some twelve years, are getting divorced, following allegations that King was a womanizer who cheated on his wife with her very own sister. The bitter court battle is now starting as Shawn wants the marital properties be legally hers. These include a Beverly Hills mansion, a house in Provo, Utah, and a house in St. George, Utah. Larry King supposedly transferred this to his wife’s name several years before, but is now asking a judge to void these.

Next is Mel Gibson and his wife Oksana Grigorieva, who have only been recently become parents to a five month old baby. Well, technically, this isn’t a divorce as the couple isn’t married. However, there is a separation and the family of Gibson, including his ex-wife, is reportedly happy with this news. Everyone has been saying this match is really not made in heaven.

And finally, a divorce we probably see coming — Tiger & Elin Woods. After all the therapy and trying to work it out, the two are reportedly going their separate ways for good.
