After months of playing it coy and not confirming their relationship, pop princess Rihanna and baseball star Matt Kemp has made it official.

Rihanna has confirmed they are boyfriends and girlfriends while speaking with Ryan Seacrest this week, saying that Matt Kemp is indeed her boyfriend. “”It’s new and it’s fun. It’s nothing too serious. I don’t want anything that’s going to take up so much of my energy and time right now in a bad way,” she says on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show.

Last February, when celebrating Rihanna’s birthday, Matt Kemp introduced her to his own parents.

Fans of the pop princess should be very delighted about this, especially after her very turbulent relationship with another singer, Chris Brown, who a couple of years ago, figured in a domestic altercation with Rihanna. Pictures of her face all black and blue were all over the internet tabloids.
