David Rolfe Releases New Film to Mark the Shroud Exposition

2 Million visitors will make the pilgrimage to Turin to see the Shroud for its once-in-a-decade public showing. At the invitation of the Cardinal’s committee, and with unique access to the Shroud itself, Rolfe has made a film that will allow everyone, not just to see the Shroud, but to ponder for themselves its remarkable story and survival.
The 45-minute film (available in HD and DVD) is simply entitled “Shroud” and tells the stories that new discoveries have revealed. New historical discoveries show how the Shroud – first heard of in the gospels – came to arrive in Turin via the ancient city of Edessa and Constantinople It is a fascinating journey. The writer is Ian Wilson, author of the newly published book by Bantam of the same name.
