Up Wins Best Picture at the Annie Awards
I was really surprised Up was nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars, on top of being nominated for Best Animated Picture. I don’t believe it will over Avatar or The Hurt Locker, but I think that it has Best Animated Picture locked in.
Adding to its list of accomplishment, Up has won the Best Animated Feature and Best Director trophies from the Annie Awards last Saturday. The Annies is an award giving body composed of members of the International Animated Film Society.
