The team up of Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro always delivers the best projects in Hollywood. The director and actor tandem together made great films like Raging Bull, Taxi Driver, Cape Fear and Casino, which was their last collaboration in 1995.

Now, reports are saying that the two my once again work together in a project that is centered on the world of the mobsters. This sounds very much something I would like to watch and I do hope they will proceed with this project.

Says Martin Scorsese when interviewed at the recent Berlin Film Festival — “Bob De Niro (and I) are talking about something that has to do with that world. There’s no doubt about that. We’re working on something like that, but it’s from the vantage point of older men looking back, none of this running around stuff.”

Scorsese has a new film out, Shutter Island, with Leonardo DiCarprio.
