Amy Heckerling, who brought us the teen cult movie,Clueless, has been working on vampire comedy movie called, Vamps for a while now. She initially wanted Michelle Pfeiffer in the lead role but now reports say that Alicia Silverstone, the star of her Clueless movie from the early 90′s, is already on board the project. This reunites writer/director and actress together, after more than a decade. If the past film is any indication, this would seem like a good match, a great project.

Except that, Alicia Silverstone hasn’t been quite active on the big screen of late. And Heckerling’s post-Clueless success were not enough to write home about. So, you’ve got to wonder how this new project will fare.

Will Heckerling weave her magic into it? Will we still love Silverstone’s charms?
