24 Movie Rolls With New Scriptwriter on Board
Every year, I keep hearing about a 24: Movie project being underway, and every year, the idea has been shot down.
It’s not the same case this time around. Fans of the series can actually begin the countdown as the screenwriter from State of Play and Shattered Glass, have just been hired to write the script for the movie version.
According to Variety, Billy Ray will have the popular TV character, Jack Bauer, in London, for its movie version. The character is played by Keifer Sutherland, who will also serve as producer of the movie, should this get a good greenlight.
The series, now on it’s 8th Season of airing in Fox, is still not clear for renewal for the 9th season. Ratings have been dipping since but the character of Jack Bauer remains one of TV’s most appealing icons.
