Although there is no official word from the people that have worked on one of last year’s most successful movie, Star Trek, there are rumors already circulation. The franchise, which J.J. Abrams has revived and made more popular to the masses in 2009, is set to come up with a sequel. There is even reports that one of its iconic figures, Khan, the villain from the series, is going to be the sequel’s main character.

The rumors were born from the fact that Paramount Pictures has already released a screen date for the sequel, pegging June 29, 2012 as the date to watch for even as J.J. Abrams and his team of writers have yet to confirm they are actually working on a script and a story for this.

Just the same, the movie was indeed so good, I think a lot of fans will be delighted and eager to watch the sequel.
