I was not a big fan of the movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. While it was darker and visually stimulating, there was just so much to take and I felt everything was cramped in the two and a half hours it ran. However, I am aware that they strategically did the movie like that in preparation for the final Harry Potter installment, which, if you don’t know yet, will be divided into two parts.

Over the weekend, a bootlegged video copy of this, the first of the final installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 surfaced online. Trying to find a good version online is hard now that Warner Bros Studios have been yanking these left and right. Incidentally, this is actually legally released when you purchase the Blu Ray copy of Half Blood Prince (which should be out this week).

The movie will be released November of 2010.
