Precious Leads Spirit Awards Nominations

Following our Oscar Watch, Precious leads the nominations to this year’s Spirit Awards, which honors the best from the crop of Independent Films released. The movie has around five nominees, including Best Feature Film.

The Spirit Awards is the first of many award giving bodies that will be bestowing honors to movies, actors, writers and directors. These awards will be very indicative of who will emerge as grand winners to the most coveted honor in the movie industry, the Oscars.

Here is the complete list of nominees for the 25th Film Independent Spirit Awards. The list is from Film Independent:
