Halle Berry: Remembering her mom

The famous Halle Berry is now busy helping out at Jenesse center;battered women’s shelter. Halle knows that people from Jenesse center really needs help. She talks about her mom during an interwiew in The Times Newspaper. She told them that she’s helping other women because she remembers her mom on the hands of his brutal dad. Her mom was beaten infront of Halle that made a deep trauma to her.
She said that even if her mom didn’t do anything wrong, her dad would still beat her up. Halle admitted that she had relationships before, but she knows deep inside that these guys are really not meant for her. Halle also got beaten up by her partner and that made her lose her hearing in one of her ears.
Honestly, I pity Halle for experiencing these things, but I do hope that this will be an eyeopener for everyone. I’m thankful that she didn’t stop herself from helping other women with the same experience. I hope she continues to encourage every individual so that they will learn to accept themselves again.
Hally Berry was very happy because she knew Rihanna fought for her rights and didn’t stay quiet. Hally said that she’s very proud of all the people who can get out from this bondage and people who doesn’t allow domestic violence. Halle also said that when you choose your partner in life makes sure that you don’t tolerate any violence. If just incase your partner hurt you, consult someone because he might possibly do it again,

I’m so glad Halle is finally telling her story – hopefully, she’ll inspire other women in abusive relationships to tell someone about their own stories.
This is a big issue right now, what with Chris Brown, Elin Nordegren, even Bebe Winans (!).. So I wish there were even more discussion. Marala Scott (you know, the lady up on Oprah.com right now) wrote her experience with domestic violence into a book! Now that’s empowering others to share their own stories (it’s called ‘In Our House: Perception vs. Reality‘). This is just my opinion, but I think Ms. Berry should make Ms. Scott’s book into a movie – now that would really help create a culture in which domestic violence is not a taboo subject, and more people could be saved from harmful situations!

I believed Halle Berry was in such a loving relationship with views of a long-term marriage. Seems there aren’t any happy marriages resembling ours any more – 20 years together and even now cheerful.
