Carrie Underwood – A real star
Carrie Underwood has been an icon of many aspiring singers. Her humble spirit brought her to another level of maturity in her career. Recently, Carrie said in one of her interviews that she really wants to be a role model to everyone, and that this is her responsibility as a celebrity. (10 stars for Carrie!) She also said that she won’t do anything that will embarrased her family or her future children. Wow! I hope all the celebrities will have this kind of motto in life. Let’s face it, our movie industry today has promoted sex, violence, drugs etc., and a lot of celebrities hasn’t been a good example to our younger generation. We need someone like Carrie Underwood who would stand up and show the world that it is possible to be a star, and also be a role model.
Carrie proudly admitted that she won’t follow the likes of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan because she wanted to maintain the respect that her parents gave her. She considers them her role models in life and she doesn’t want to disappoint them in any way. Wow, now my heart is filled with so much hope for all the celebrities out there who wasted their oppurtunity to be a real star. In my opinion, real stars should have genuine love and respect atleast for themselves because it’s not about the fame, it’s about who they really are.
Carrie Underwood is thankful for the continuous support of her fans. She’s really motivated to work because of them, and that she considers all the criticisms as a stepping stone and not a stumbling block to her career.
