Johnny Depp is The Sexiest The 2nd Time Around
People Magazine has released its annual Sexiest Man Alive issue, leaving most people surprised at the choice for sexiest. It’s not that Johnny Depp isn’t qualified, he more than fits the bill. It’s because there’s been a string of sexier, younger celebrities. No one expected People to crown someone a second time around. Johnny Depp was hailed sexiest first in 2003.
In a statement by People, this is why they think Deep deserves the Sexiest tag: “Whether it’s onscreen in roles like Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise or at home with his family on their private Bahamian island, the 46-year-old father of two with 25 years in show business still reigns as Hollywood’s most irresistible iconoclast.”

- 13th Jerry O’Connell – sexy sense of humor
- 12th Chris Daughtry -idol rock hot

- 9th Nick Cannon – pop diva husband
- 8th The Glee Guys – cute, dorky, talented dudes
- 7th Gilles Marini – Frenchy fabulous
- 6th David Beckham – sporty sexy
- 5th Robert Downey Jr – iron clad sexy
- 4th Bradley Cooper – new breed sexy
- 3rd Jake Gyllenhaal – old breed sexy
- 2nd Ryan Reynolds- nice guy leading man material sexy
I don’t agree with some of the choices for Top 15 alone and I’m missing quite a few names. (C’mon People Magazine! Look into Jeffrey Donovan or Matt Bomer once in while!)
