I wish I could have sung better

Surprise, another blog about the recently controversial Adam Lambert.  Some of you may already think it’s just a fad to overrate the American Idol, now solo artist, Superstar.  Oh, a correction on my part, Adam has always been controversial, has he not?  But his recent performance on the American Music Awards did make a huge buzz, or it did put him at the top of the recent celebrity news.

Adam has performed on the recent AMA and his performance was considered inappropriate – some would border into calling it vulgar and obscene.  But the AI star didn’t give even a hint of apology to most, if not all, of his interviews with the media.  “I’m not a babysitter, I’m a performer.” says Lambert on an interview which mainly portrays his attitude on the recent controversy.  I can almost tell that this famous line of his has already spread like a virus on the internet.  The gay community could never be more proud of the young male “gay” icon for not apologizing for the behavior that he has shown.  This is where I draw the line.  Gay or not, you don’t show gay night club material on live television.

Anyway, when all is said and done, Adam stood his ground.  Disregarding even the young viewers.  He even mentioned the parents’ discretion in letting their children view this kind of things.  “It was 11 o’clock at night,” points out Adam, seemingly putting the responsibility on the parents alone.  I’d say this is where you can see Adam’s immaturity as an artist still.  Although there will be more room for improvement, especially attitude-wise, I still think he’s a great singer.  Actually, that’s where he found his regret after all this.  The title says it all.
