Brangelina Necklaces
Don’t look now but it seems like Hollywood’s Power Couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, are also getting into the accessories business.
The two have come up with a design for Asprey, a British jeweler, and has created this very elegant serpent themed collection which includes the works — earrings, pendants, rings and bangles. They have also designed a few commemorative pieces like a silver spoon and egg cup.
Any purchases made from this line will benefit quite a few in need. The couple is planning to donate the proceeds to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, where a sum of $1Million has already been donated by the couple, through its Jolie-Pitt Foundation.
The serpent is a symbol that’s very close to the mother of six’s heart. Apparently, while the actress was carrying Shiloh in 2006, she was given a special ring that was meant to protect the mother and the child. Jolie now feels that this image has become sort of a talisman for the whole Jolie-Pitt household.
If you’ve seen photos of the kids, you will find that they have a few jewelry pieces on them with the serpent’s image, such as a charm bracelet.
