Simon Cowell Planning Birthday Blowout

Simon Cowell is planning a huge celebration for his 50th birthday, which occurs in just a few weeks, on October 7. Sources say he’s already spent over 250,000 pounds and sent out invitations all over the entertainment world. Some big names that are rumored to be expected include Sir Elton John and his sweetie, David Furnish, Leona Lewis, Kevin Spacey, Denise Richards, Kylie Minogue, and his fellow judges and contestants from his talents shows.
And his mom. That’s just cool. You don’t think of people like Simon Cowell as having moms, much less inviting them to birthday bashes.
The big news today is that his dear friend, supermodel Kate Moss, wants to sing him a happy birthday song on the special day. She’s apparently toying with a Marilyn Monroe style sultry “Happy Birthday to You,” or a take of Lily Allen’s “It’s Not Fair.” If she does the Allen song, she might even make it a duet with Allen, which might be kind of nice.
The party will be held at Wrotham Park in Hertfordshire, and about 400 people are expected to attend.
