Dancing With The Stars Contestants Fall 2009
ABC has announced which celebrity is coming aboard their hit series, Dancing With The Stars when it premieres this coming September. What they have is quite an group I never would have imagined.
The list of stars include —
Singers like: Aaron Carter, Mya, Kelly Osbourne and Macy Gray. I am most surprised by Macy Gray coming in because I would not have pegged her joining a show like this. She may have lost some cool points for me. On the other hand, she might really just surprise me.
Sports people like: Australian six-time swimming gold medalist Natalie Coughlin,Ultimate Fighting Champion Chuck Liddell, former Dallas Cowboy and ESPN host Michael Irvin, martial artist Marc Dacascos and professional snowboarder Louie Vito. Of this group, I’m excited about Marc Dascascos. It should be interesting to see if his rough chops and high kicks are also graceful and softer.
Celebrities like: Ashley Hamilton, son of Rod Stewart and Alana Hamilton; Actress Melissa Joan Hart; Supermodel Kathy Ireland; Swimsuit model Joanna Krupa; Actress Debi Mazar and Danny Osmond. I guess it is Danny’s turn after Marie joined the show two seasons ago. He may already have people rooting for him. It’s just the privilege of being an Osmond.
The most surprising one of all is perhaps conservative politician Tom DeLay’s inclusion. He has admitted to be a huge fan of the show and apparently is into dancing. DeLay says he and his wife go dancing a lot. I’d love to see his tango.
