Topless Robert Pattinson on New Moon Set

One would think that New Moon, the highly anticipated sequel to Twilight, would be silently producing the field behind closed doors. Unfortunately that is not the case as reported over at the HD Room.
In fact, the post even contained some pictures of Robert Pattinson going topless on the set.
The pics are likely from a pivotal scene during the film’s closing moments in which Edward strips off his shirt and attempts to commit suicide by sunlight. Bella, whose love fears not melting skin, reunites with and saves the sad vampire leading to a great big smooch.

This drives me crazy! Do these people even read the books? Or the screenplay? In this mythology, vampires do NOT melt in the sun. They just sparkle. What Edward is doing in that scene is stepping out into the sunlight to commit suicide by Volturi–that is, so that his secret is exposed and the Volturi have no choice but to kill him. Gah. You’d think people would think before making public statements!

haha Good Observation! Well this is the age of applying innovations and who knows if vampires are added to that circle.

It just bugs me that whoever made that comment didn’t bother to do his/her homework. At least the pics are good–that outweighs stupid people who don’t know what they’re talking about.
