Can somebody lend me $28,000?

That’s how much a kiss from Rob Pattinson went for at the annul fundraiser, Cinema Against AIDS, this year at the Cannes Film Festival.  Apparently there was a bidding war, pushing the grand prize up to $20K, so Rob, being as generous with his favors as he is with his talent (and, hey, it’s for a good cause, right?), offered to put not one, but TWO kisses on the auction block. 

For some reason, that increased the going bids, and he ended up selling two kisses at $28,000 apiece.  Now, one source claims that these kisses are “pecks on the cheek.”  I’m not saying that I’d turn down a peck on the cheek from Pattinson, but for $28K, I’d probably turn my head at the last second to try and get a little lip action.
