I’m not that into the ‘tween scene, but I do get to hear from the experts, my 11 and 13 year old daughters.  I am, however, very much into Twilight–both the books and the movie(s), so it does catch my attention when hot young werewolf Taylor Lautner is coupled with another tween idol, Selena Gomez.  This month’s edition of J-14, that tween gossip rag, has Lautner on the cover confessing his…well, his opinion that Selena Gomez is cute.

Which, of course, she is.  She’s precious.  So’s he.  The rumor that they have something going apparently got started because the two ran into each other in a security line at LAX and talked a bit, then some interviewer asked Lautner what he thought of Gomez, and he said he thought she was cute. 

So, now they’re getting married and they’re having babies, or something.  However, I think she’s still dating Nick Jonas…no, wait, the experts tell me they broke up.  So, yeah…Selena, you should go for it.  You’d be moving up in the world.
