Katie Perry looked classy and sassy at France’s international NRJ awards.  In case you’re not up on your French pop culture, NRJ is pronouce “energie” and is the name of the popular French radio station that has sponsored these international awards since 2000.

Anyway, Katie looks beautiful in her white satin suit, and presented a picture of grace and delight when she accepted her awards for Best International Album and Best International Song. 

She looked just as graceful, although a little more red in the face, when it was revealed that Katie wasn’t supposed to receive the best International Song award after all.  That was supposed to go to Rihanna for Disturbia. 

Still, Best ENITRE ALBUM (for “One of The Boys”)  is even better than Best Song, right?  ALL of Katie’s songs got recognized, not just one. 

Congratualtions to both Katie and Rihann.  But maybe whoever runs NRJ can look into this embarrassing error and see why the mistake was made int he first place.  Then, I suggest they take significant steps to make sure it never happens again.
